Your personal National Talent consultant will have already created and shared a candidate introductory pack with the potential employer, this will give them a full overview of your potential including; a tailored CV, feedback from a verbal interview with your consultant and results of our in-house psychometric profiling assessment to fully introduce your skills, competency, capability, attitude, behaviour and personality. It’s now up to you to live up to an employers expectation.
The interview process is opportunity for the employer as much as the candidate and our experienced consultants will work with you to ensure you’re fully prepared and able to sell yourself and your skills, even under pressure.
We will work with you to create a full preparation plan, focused on your areas of need and hand-picked from a suite of available in-house advice, guidance and training including:
- Communication – ensuring you’re able to clearly and concisely articulate your unique selling points as well as confidently ask the employer any questions you may have about the position or organization.
- Presentation – you may be required to participate in an activity based assessment centre e.g. doing a presentation, teaching you the tricks of the trade to develop confidence and professionalism in your delivery.
- Mock Interviews – scenario based exercises imitating a real life interview situation helping you to prepare for possible questions and frame competitive and articulate responses under pressure.
- Surviving rejection – an interview may be unsuccessful for a number of reasons, you may decide the organization isn’t the best fit for you, either way we’ll focus on your continuous improvement and developing prospects to find the right role for you.
